This shoes is apart of the popular ASICS GEL 1100 Series. 3M Reflective - Improved footwear visibility when running in low level light. UPDATED Two Piece SpEVA Midsole - A supreme midsole material that improves bounce-back characteristics and decreases midsole breakdown and new for this season ASICS have made this a two piece SpEVA midsole. The new set up provides improved shock attenuation and a smother transition from heel strike to mId stance. UPDATED DuoMax - A proprietary ASICS system that consists of two different density midsole materials and designed to provide guidance and control to prevent overpronation. Visible Rearfoot GEL - The ASICS GEL system is based on a special kind of silicon that enables optimal shock absorption.
